Chuo University in Tokyo is hosting a high-profile criminal law symposium on September 26 and 27, 2026, to mark and honor the 70th birthday and retirement of Prof. Prof. h.c. Dr. Dres. h.c. Makoto Ida, a member of our Board of Trustees, on September 26 and 27, 2026. The DJJV is a co-organizer of this symposium, which features a distinguished lineup of speakers, and as such, DJJV members are eligible to attend free of charge.
