We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the anniversary event “1985–2025: 40 Years of Research on Japanese Law at the MPI. Time to Add New Voices.”
To mark the 40th anniversary of institutionalized Japanese legal research at the Max Planck Institute, the Institute's Japan Competence Center, in collaboration with the DJJV, is hosting an event on the role of Japanese law in its neighboring countries from November 13 to 15, 2025.
