We would like to invite you to attend a free lecture on Thursday, September 4, 2025. The lecture will be followed by a regulars' table.
Prof. Dr. Arinobu Ohnaka, Professor of Civil Law at the Law School of Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan, has kindly agreed to give a lecture on the topic
“Legislative proposal to introduce an optional right to choose a name for married couples in Japan”
in German.
Prof. Ohnaka worked on the draft legislation in Japan when he was younger. Among other things, he has also conducted comparative legal research at the University of Cologne.

Duration: Approximately 1 hour, including questions and discussion

Free visitor parking is available in the basement of the building.
