Symposium regarding the European Unified Patent Court at Meiji University

Dear members of the DJJV,

On September 13th, 2024, a symposium on the current situation of the European Unified Patent Court will be held in Tokyo, organized by the DJJV in cooperation with the Intellectual Property Law and Policy Institute at Meiji University, the Japan Patent Attorneys Association, the Japan Federation of Bar Associations, the Intellectual Property Lawyers Network Japan and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property of Japan.

Presentations by Mr. Klaus Grabinski, President of the Court of Appeal of the Unified Patent Court, Professor Toshiya Kaneko, Professor of Intellectual Property Law at Meiji University and Dr. Dirk Schüßler-Langeheine, Patent Attorney at Hoffmann Eitle, a Mood Court on patent law and a subsequent discussion are planned. A detailed program will follow.
